Looks Cool But Not FunctionalJan 28, 2008

I bought this cup for my 15 month old son because I too love Boon products. We have the potty chair and other feeding products from Boon that we love. This cup, however, is so difficult for my son to drink from and it leaks like crazy. He has figured out how to shake it and make a nice mess on our hardwood floors :) Also the lid is so difficult to get off espeically with a screaming toddler tugging at your pants asking for more milk!!! I would skip it altogether.

Somewhat DisappointingJan 22, 2008

OK, this sippy cup has a pretty cool design, and when I learned that it is BPA- free, I pre-ordered two of them for my 15 month old son. There are two problems with this cup. First, it is really, really difficult to get the cap off. I have resorted to using my teeth to remove the spout on several occasions. Second, it leaks like crazy. The liquid doesn't come out of the slit where the child drinks out of, but it leaks where the cup seals. Overall, I am really disappointed with this product- I guess I will have to order a few more SIGG cups for my son.

Don't Waste Your Money!Jan 27, 2008
By Lillian Deangelo I bought this because it is BPA free and has a pretty cool design. I have to use my teeth to get the cap off. It seemed impossible to drink from, requiring incredible sucking strength to get any liquid out, so I used a knife to make the opening bigger. It hasn't leaked yet but I'm looking forward to that too! This cup is garbage.

Works Well for UsFeb 08, 2008

We bought this sippy because my son has trouble tilting his head enough to get liquid from a normal sippy. When I found out it was BPA free as well, that was just an added bonus.
It works wonderfully for us. It does require significantly less head tilt than your standard sippy. The shape of the lip area also seems to work better for him.
As for the leaking, to be honest, we've never had a sippy that was leak-proof. This is no exception. When it's put directly upside down, a few drops came out and then stopped. When it was thrown onto the floor, a few drops came out then too. Maybe I'm sippy jaded, but for us, that's acceptable loss.

Best Sippy Cup!Jun 12, 2010
By Mrs. E / Mom & Middle School Teacher We bought four other brands of sippy cups before ever trying the Boon Fluid. This is BY FAR the best cup we own. In fact, we own three of these (one of each color). What I love about them is that they do not use one of those annoying valves in their attempt to be "No-spill". This one has a rubber-ish piece in the top that has a slit in it. When my daughter (14 months) sucks on it she's able to drink normally, but when she carries it upside down, only intermittent individual drips fall out (as opposed to an entire stream of milk or water). This is a major plus in our household because we've spent 6+ months learning that NO sippy cup is 100% spill-free.
We did have issues with one of the tops we purchased [no one could drink out of it, no matter how hard we (toddler and parents) sucked], but after a quick call to Boon Customer Service, we received a replacement top in the mail 3-4 days later which has been working perfectly.
