Good for very young babies too!Sep 20, 2007
By Baltimore Mama I bought this product to try and avoid using a pacifier for my 2 month old daughter who loves to suck. She appeared not to use it much at first, but at 3 months she's really warmed up to it. She snuggles with it for naps and comfort and does chew on the little ends. I'm hopeful that it will become a teething toy for her in a few weeks. One note--since I work outside the home too, I slept with the toy for a few nights so that it smelled like me and that seemed to make her like it even more when I was gone.

better buy two!Mar 17, 2010
By theof Our daughter LOVES this bunny. It was the first toy she really bonded with. She loves looking at its sweet little face, working her fingers through the textured cloth, and gnawing on its ears and appendages. It comforts her when she has to go to bed, and when she wakes up in the morning she "talks" to it. I now have two and plan to buy a third, because babies get sick a lot and bunny is often in the wash. I'd also like to leave one at her daycare.
Bunny is sturdy and washes easily. I think you're supposed to let it air dry, but I've been putting it on the low heat cycle and it's stood up after 14 months of hard time. This is a far superior product to the other blanket-heads we've seen, which are too fluffy or have a distracting rattle. I recommended ALL of the Under the Nile toys -- babies dig them!

Potential Choking Hazard!!!!!Sep 12, 2011
By A Lonely Doll I washed this bunny once on the gentle cycle prior to giving it to my daughter. It was kept in her crib and only played with while she was in her crib, usually during naps and overnight. She slept with it for less than one month. Yesterday morning I was horrified to discover that my daughter (who is 7 months old) had "decapitated" poor "Bunny" during the night. The head was completely detached from the body (the pink and white pieces were completely separate), and the head's stuffing was completely exposed. Fortunately, she had not removed any of the stuffing, but what a total choking hazard!!! Ironically, I had intentionally chosen "Bunny" because of its organic cotton ingredients -- I thought they would be safer for something to which she was frequently exposed and mouthing.

Dirty stuffingMar 05, 2011
By Audrey Chang I really wanted to like this product but had to return because after the first wash before use, I noticed the bunny head stuffing leaked brown colored liquid, turning the head dirty yellow and leaving a brown ring on the body part. If my baby sucks on it, he would have ingested whatever the brown juice is. This product is not safe for a baby!

Worth buying a back-up bunny!May 29, 2009
By mom2twinjas I originally bought 2 of these for my twin girls when they about 4 months old. One of my girls grew totally attached, the other couldn't care less, which worked out great because now we could keep one as a spare bunny for when the other will meet its inevitable fate of getting left behind during some mundane outing(the bunny, not the baby!). More than a year later, bunny friend has been through the trenches at the hands of my toddlers, and gets thrown in the washer & dryer at least a few times a week, and has held up very well. Seeing how this bunny is the savior of most meltdowns for at least one of of my girls, I had to buy another when one finally vanished. I wish she had her sister's more cost effective taste of being perfectly content with a cheap old burp rag.
