A safari refers to an overland trip to Africa's wilderness, traditionally for a
big-game hunt. On a Safari journey, you face untamed leopards, blood-hungry
lions, wild cheetahs and slithering snakes.

But World Charms has tamed the wild and harnessed its sweet side to come up with
an exclusive and sophisticated collection of quirky handbags, elegant cuffs, unique bangles
and stylish neckpieces made from coconut and sea shells naturally forming safari animal patterns. Hence the name Sweet Safari.

All Sweet Safari items are 100% handmade and are go green certified, which means that a portion of the sale of the items is donated to a foundation aimed at achieving sustainability of the natural materials which the items are made of.

Destination: Africa

Africa is the second-largest and second most-populous continent in the world. It is home to a billion people in innumerable tribes, ethnic and social groups. These include the Maasai, Zulu, Wolof, Bushmen / San and Bemba tribes. The African continent accounts for about 14.8% of the World's total human population.

Africa is also home to numerous wildlife species. The phrase "The Big Five" or "Big Five Game" was coined by early safari hunters and refers to Africa's five most difficult animals to hunt - the Lion, the African Elephant, the African Buffalo (also known as Cape Buffalo), the Leopard and the Rhinoceros. Today, the phrase is still commonly used by wildlife guides and tourists to refer to African wildlife.

In African culture, jewelry is an important personal accessory. Many jewelry pieces are made of cowry shells and similar materials. Similarly, masks are made with elaborate designs and are important part of African culture. Both masks and jewelry are used in various ceremonies depicting ancestors and spirits, mythological characters and deities.
